Season 1. Episode 3.
The story: Janet gets her star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame and it stamps her musical career stable.
Her contract with A&M had run out and all the labels wanted her. She signed with Virgin and became the highest-paid recording artist in history and, most importantly, she had her freedom.
Janet makes her movie debut with 'Poetic Justice', mostly against Virgin's wishes.
Her next moves show a more daring Janet. 
Janet's husband Rene helped change her persona for the public to see by directing her music video for "Again" from 'Poetic Justice'.
Janet appears, very provocatively on the cover of Rolling Stone and it really gets some attention.
She also wins her second Grammy.
Next, Coca-Cola wants Janet to sign with them for a multi-million dollar promotion,
She is just about to sign the contract when sexual abuse allegations against brother Michael come out.
Coca-Cola walks away.
Janet believes the allegations against Michael could never be true.
She, along with her family support him and she still believes in his innocence.
Unfortunately,  all the allegations against Michael impacted Janet's career.
Michael contacts Janet, asking that they collaborate together. She is there to support her brother.
1993, in New York, they write 'Scream' together.
During the making of the video, Janet feels that her brother's recording label was trying to plot the siblings against each other.
Next, the Jackson brothers approach Michael to go on tour with them and have Janet open. He refuses.
They tried to keep their family close but Michael was being held from them, changing everything.
1997, Rene begins getting on Janet's nerves as well as other peoples.
Janet begins tour proceedings for her 'Velvet Rope' album and Rene isn't by her side as he has been for so many years past.
After 9 years, Janet and Rene divorce.
