The story : In 1946 the DuPont Chemical Company began making Teflon at their Parkersburg , West Virginia Plant.
Very quickly Teflon was taking off , claiming that its use made namely housewives work easier.
Many residents of Parkersburg made their living at the DuPont factory and worked around Teflon , without any warnings to their health.
But when pregnant employees began giving birth to children with deformities and other employees came up with Cancer , DuPont had to be responsible.
The coincidences were too great , no matter how many times DuPont claimed their chemicals were safe for humans.
Some time past before anything was done to try and curb the deadly contamination , although for about 30 years prior or more the company knew very well the result of the contaminants but continued to make decisions based on money.
The terror didn't just start and end in Parkersburg though...
