Paterno (2018)

Based on truths.
The story : On October 29 , 2011 popular longtime college football coach for Penn State , Joe Paterno gained his 409th victory at the age of 88.
Within the next month , allegations of child sexual abuse at the hands of former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky , who worked along side Paterno for some time broke.
As the scandal gets bigger , more of the truth comes to the surface.
While Joe concentrates on his next upcoming game he is circled by rumors , allegations and scandal on a daily basis.
When Joe speaks of what he knew and reported , some 5 years prior , doing what he believed was right , it isn't enough.
He is advised by his lawyer that the only thing he can do now is retire.
Joe puts in for his resignation and agrees to a last 3 game deal.
But his involvement , or lack there of , finally cost him his slightly early retirement earlier than planned , much to the great disappointment of many loved ones and fans.
