The story : Rock Ridge is a peaceful western town.
When greedy Attorney General Hedley Lamarr gets word from one of his crooked hence men that a railroad is due to go through Rock Ridge , he comes up with a plan.
If Hedley can get the people of Rock Ridge to leave then he can own the land , selling it off for millions.
He appoints a slave to become the new sheriff of Rock Ridge , believing when the people there get a load of him they will take no time getting the hell out of town.
But the new sheriff decides to try and win over the towns people by helping them save their beloved home.
