The story : Mitch Brockton is a lawyer and family man.
He is looking to be the next District Attorney.
While out with his co workers , Mitch has a bit too much to drink.
He is calling a cab.
But while calling he sees what looks like thugs around his car , so he decides to just drive home.
Paranoid when a police car gets behind his , Mitch pulls off to a side road but the police pass him by.
But while looking in his rear view mirror and moving someone jumps out in front of his car and he hits them.
Panicking , Mitch calls 911 and leaves.
When a man is arrested for the hit and run of the man Mitch accidentally hit , he doesn't want to be the prosecuting attorney on the case as he believes the man is innocent.
But Mitch happens upon some information about other local murders that make him believe the man being charged for the hit and run is actually guilty of many other deaths.
