The story : Jack has just turned 5 years old.
He and his young mother Joy live in what they call "room".
Room is the only home Jack has ever known.
When his mother was younger , she was taken and locked away. Then Jack came along and she had someone besides herself to live for.
For Jack , the world isnt more than just pictures on the tv screen.
But one day , when Joy can no longer take the way they are forced to live , she decides it is time to teach him what is outside room...
