The story : In the 1940s , Jake was a tough , serious boxer whose only brother was his manager.
He was high strung , paranoid and violent in the ring as well as in his personal life.
As time went by the more matches Jake had under his belt , the more he believed he was unbeatable.
But after a fight with his brother and then losing a major fight , Jake called life in the ring quits.
By the 50s , Jake had retired from boxing , opened a nightclub and began trying to live a normal family man kind of life.
