The story: Christine Chubbuck is a tv news reporter for a local Florida station.
She has become increasingly annoyed with her job as she isn't allowed much freedom.
When her boss tells her that her stories need more grit because that's what the watchers want to see, Christine tries a few new things.
But even those attempts don't work for her with her boss or her job.
Soon every effort Christine has made looks like an unmanageable failure to her , leaving her feeling as if she has only one choice left.
