Girlfriends (1978)

Released August of 1978 in the US.
Filmed entirely in New York.
The story : Young Susan and Anne are roommates as well as best gal pals.
Susan is an aspiring dreamer of a photographer while Anne is still looking to find herself.
Right after things start looking good for Susan's photography career , they two get a new , bigger apartment.
But before they move in , Anne tells Susan that she is going to get married....
This leaves Susan feeling a bit strange but she deals.
It seems every relationship Susan enters afterwards just doesn't work out the way she would hope.
All the while , staying in contact with Anne , who is gradually regretting her choices.
