The story : In 1987 , Mark Schultz has one thing in mind - training to be the best American wrestler he can be.
With the help of his trainer , mentor and older brother David - Mark has lots of potential.
One evening out of the blue Mark recieves a phone call from the heir of duPont , John E.
Quickly Mark becomes a part of Johns growing wrestling team , Team Foxcatcher.
But John is never quite happy.
He eventually insists that David be a part of the team as well.
When John finally seems to have everything he wanted , things take a turn for the worst.
