Filmed entirely in Luxembourg.
The story : In 1921 , director Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau plans to make a Dracula movie.
When he cannot get the rights to the name , he decides to change it to Nosferatu.
Friedrich is very secretive about his lead star , Max Schreck - and makes up excuses for him as he is just plain creepy.
Little does the Friedrich's crew know , Max is actually a vampire who has a deal with Friedrich.
