The story : Billy has been living with a friend of his parents - "aunt Cheryl" , since he was three years old.
His parents were killed in a car wreck.
Days before Billy's 17th birthday he gets good news from his high school basketball coach that getting a scholarship is quite possibly in his near future.
Excited about the news , Billy tells aunt Cheryl but her reaction isn't exactly what he expected.
Instead , aunt Cheryl snaps out insisting that she won't know what to do if he leaves her.
After the two argue a bit about it all , aunt Cheryl takes the rest of the evening to think things over.
The next day , aunt Cheryl basically apologizes to Billy seeming like she has accepted the fact that he could be going away on scholarship.
Well , that's the impression young Billy got. But actually , aunt Cheryl is really looking for deviant ways to make sure Billy don't go nowhere!
