The story : News reporter Blair Maynard gets his boss to send him to Florida due to so many boats disappearing in at least the last six months. Indeed this calls for some reporting.
Blair takes his 12-year-old son along for the trip , claiming it will be quite the adventure.
Blair decides the two should fly on over to an island and look around. There , they find a boat they would like to rent for fishing.
After the man who owns the boat agrees , the two are off.
But while out fishing , they are captured by pirates.
