Filmed in California and Colorado.
The story : Prim and proper "Cat" has just graduated from teaching school and is on a train back home to her papa.
During the train ride , Cat meets a criminal in custody. Later she helps him escape.
When Cat finally makes it back home again , she finds that people have been after her papa to sell his land and that he owes money.
But papas' a "stubborn old mule" and wont hear of selling.
Cats' on the run criminal friends show up to help Cat and her papa.
But because papa wont sell , he is killed.
Now its' all about making sure to pay off papas' debts and keeping his beloved land , no matter what happens.
