The story : Danny Caldwell is a seventeen-year-old that is trying hard to deal with the stresses of his young teenage life.
When he gets behind the wheel of his buddies' car after he's been drinking heavily, the consequences are heavy ones.
Danny finds himself behind bars, for much longer than any other first offender his age because his parents choose to leave him in jail for the first night to teach him a lesson.
Danny ends up learning a lot more than just the assumed lessons.
