Released July 7th, 1978 in the US.
Filmed in Pennsylvania.
The story: Martin is a strange kid.
He believes he is a vampire - well, of some kind - he just doesn't understand about it all that much.
He has a fascination with women, but he is much too shy to speak to any.
He finds himself in the most peculiar situations where women are concerned and he ends up more like stalking them rather than talking to them.
Martin also sees many visions, which are in black and white.
Visions of a time gone by, a time he lived, as if in another lifetime.
Martin's father has just past away so he recently moved into the home of his uncle and cousin.
His uncle is hell-bent on taking out any and all vampires as he believes they are Satans children and that Martin is one of them because he was born into a family of them...
Martin has to try hard to get his uncle to believe he is not a vampire.
But his uncle tells him if he slips up once that’s it, he’s all done.
Martin's cousin doesn’t believe Martin is a vampire any more than she believes that vampires exist.
Although she becomes a good friend to Martin, she ends up moving out of the house that the three share on account that her father is unmovable in his train of thought.
Poor Martin, young but old and utterly confused about every move he makes.
Will he ever make it through his life through the eyes of the world as he sees it?
