Released originally in Italy, this made it's way to the US, May 30th in 1986.
Filmed entirely in Germany.
The story: A young woman is given a free admission ticket to see a movie she has no idea about.
She asks for an extra ticket for her friend, so she will not have to go alone and she is allowed another.
The two girls decide to skip out on the plans they already had to go to the free screening of a movie.
Many other people have also been given free passes and are present at the theater, which has recently been renovated as it has been closed for a long time.
Not one of the moviegoers have any idea about what type of movie they are going to see.
While looking around in the theaters' lobby, a few people joking around find a mask that one of them puts on to try and scare her friend.
She is told to put the mask back and when she takes it off she gets a scratch on her cheek from having it on.
When the movie starts, everyone is present in the theater and watching the movie closely.
They soon realize its a sort of horror movie, about a group of four, who find the tomb of Nosferatu and in it, a book and mask.

A mask that is similar to the mask in the theaters' lobby.
The book tells that the mask is evil and makes whoever wears it evil.
As the mask is shown on the screen, the girl who had gotten a scratch from wearing the mask in the lobby notices that her scratch has started bleeding again and goes to the bathroom to tend to it.
But the girl soon realizes that her face is transforming into something awful starting where the scratch is.
When her girlfriend goes to the bathroom to check on her she finds that her friend is no longer who she was.
She has turned into a hideous monster who is now after her.
But the monster isn't just after the one girl it is after anyone who it can get.
When the rest of the people in the theater realize what is happening , it is too late.
They are all trapped inside the theater to try and fight off the ever growing new population of demons.
