The story: Baby Jane Hudson is a star of the stage as a child when she becomes an adult, her older sister Blanche has become the movie star instead of her.
Baby Jane has great difficulty accepting her sisters' fame.
One night, Blanche is involved in a bad car accident -and in that instant, her soaring career as a Hollywood starlet is forever over and done with.
30 years later, the two sisters are living together - Jane being Blanche's caregiver and also living off Blanche's financial security.
Still unaccepting of the fact that Blanche became more famous than she feels she ever had a chance to be, Jane goes more mad with the days.
