The story: When Joe and Rita are volunteered to take part in an experiment and be preserved for a year they have no idea what to expect.
While they are locked away, the whole experiment is stopped and Joe and Rita are just forgotten about.
They accidentally awake from their sleep 500 years into the future where everything has changed for the worst.
