The story: Chuck and Larry are friends who work together as firefighters.
They also lead two completely different lifestyles.
Larry is a widower with two children and Chuck is something of a playboy.
When things become a little tight for Larry he seeks help from the government and finds that he must be married to reap any benefits which are entitled to him.
Due to Chuck wanting to repay Larry for saving his life, he goes along with the idea of pretending to be a homosexual couple that are looking to get married to help Larry's situation out.
