The story: Danica and Teddy, high school sweethearts who haven't left their hometown of Southport, are going to get married.

They are plowing a party on the 4th of July for their friends and family to celebrate.
Friends Ava and Milo, who were a couple in high school, have traveled back home to attend the party.

It's like old times with the four of them together.

Right after the party, the group is about to go watch fireworks when they notice their old friend Stevie packing a car with another girl.

They approach Stevie and invite her to go along with them, which she does.

The group takes a drive to see the fireworks better, and when they get to their destination, the top of a very windy road, they park and get out of the car.

Teddy, having the time of his life, is now standing in the middle of the road when a car approaches.

But Milo pulls him out of the way just in time. 

Although moments later, another vehicle approaches and the driver isn't that lucky.

He ends up going over the cliff at the edge of the road.

This devastates the friends and leaves them all indifferent.

Instead of staying and being witnesses or trying to help, Teddy decides to call his father, who has ties with the local police, to report the accident and the friends leave the scene.

Later, they make a pact to never tell anyone what happened...

But in a year's time, it becomes apparent to them all that someone knows what they did and is hellbent on getting revenge.

The story: Social media influencer Madison is on vacation in Thailand, alone...

Her boyfriend Ryan was supposed to go along, but he bailed at the last minute.

Madison spends her days and nights alone, promoting all her activities as if she is having the greatest time.

But the reality is, she is just trying to enjoy herself, wishing Ryan were there with her.

Soon, Madison meets CW, a woman who generously wants to show Madison around Thailand, and the two become quick friends.

When Madison is set to go home, she finds that while she was out, her hotel room had been broken into.

Now missing is her passport.

Freaking out, CW steps in to help. She suggests that because Madison has to stay that much longer to get a recovery passport, she might as well make the best of things by extending the holiday.

Madison doesn't have much choice and decides, what the heck does she have to lose?

One morning, unlike any other while staying in Thailand, CW rushes Madison to a small boat.

She tells Madison that they will travel to the most exquisite, remote island that no one visits.

Madison, trusting as usual, goes along without question.

When evening arrives while on the island, Madison begins telling CW a story about a friend of hers who terrifyingly sees the bad side of every scenario.

CW responds with a horrific story about how she will leave Madison on the desolate island to fend for herself, never able to get back to civilization, and the very next day, she does just that.

The story: Sheryl Lyna Stamps was a school teacher for 7 years before she accepted a job at the Developmental Learning Materials Company (DLM).

DLM was a family-run company, and it was there that Sheryl met the father of their only son, Patrick, later to become her husband Jim Leach.

In 1986, Sheryl wanted to be a stay-at-home mom, taking care of her son Patrick.

Patrick, an extremely active 2-year-old, kept Sheryl overly busy.

She went to the video store looking for a video that would keep her high-energy sons' attention, and there she found the show 'Wee Sing Together'.

Patrick adored the show, playing it over and over again.

Sheryl now wanted to create a tailor-made show for Patrick, incorporating aspects that worked from 'Wee Sing Together', while also being educational and developmentally appropriate for his age.
She did just that.

Her father-in-law owned a production studio, so she pitched her idea to him, which he loved.

He quickly gathered a group of people to work together alongside Sheryl to create her show, and that group of people created what we know today as Barney the purple dinosaur.

Barney's success did not happen overnight, but by late 1990, the show was a giant success.

As soon as two years later, parents began having many love/hate issues with the big purple dinosaur.

From that point on, no matter how much children loved Barney, he gained that many more haters.

I Care a Lot (2020)

The story: Marla is a confident woman.
She has made a career as a professional, court-appointed legal guardian, typically for the elderly whose doctors claim they can no longer care for themselves.

But instead of doing what is right, Marla is trying to get rich.

She schemes, with many people working along with her, to take these elderly people out of their homes and put them in assisted living facilities.

Then, while those people are safely locked away from what they know, Marla makes sure to sell off all of their belongings.

When Marla is informed by her doctor friend of a well-off elderly woman who is in the early stages of dementia and has no living family, it seems like a very easy gig.

Big problems arise though when the woman's son, who no one knew about, comes looking for his mother.

Also, lately, things around their family home have been strange.

Things are going missing and being in spots where they would not normally be.

But everyone in the house disregards it for the most part.

When the man Jackie was involved with shows up unexpectedly, things get really bad.

So bad that Greg and Jackie end up having to hide his body...

The story: As a little girl, Bea found nothing more exciting than being with her parents and creating magic through play and imagination.

Her mother has passed away and her father is in the hospital for a minor surgery.

Bea will be staying with her grandmother, who she hasn't stayed with in years.

But Bea is a very responsible 12-year-old who believes she is no longer a child and can handle what gets in her way.

When returning back to her grandmother's apartment after going to the store one night, Bea believes she has seen a child run into an apartment upstairs.

Bea tries to talk with the child, but is told to go away and that she didn't see anyone.

She persists, but another tenant tells her to go, and she does, so thats that.

Yet the next night, Bea sees what looks like a child follow an apartment tenant out into the street.

She quickly follows them and when they enter another apartment building, Bea watches from outside.

What she sees, she cannot believe. 

But continuing on back to the apartment and following the child, the man, and what looks like a giant purple monster back into their apartment, Bea has to find out what is going on.

The child that Bea thought was a child is not a child at all! She is in fact an imaginary friend, or an IF, as she is taught...

She, along with the big purple monster.

They are IF's who have been forgotten due to their children growing up.

These IF's , which there are many more, are looking to find new best human children friends.

The Impossible Years (1968)

The story: Dr. Jonathan Kingsley is a happily married, father of two girls - 17-year-old Linda and 13-year-old Abbey.

The doctor is the professor of Psychology at the local university. He is also writing a book about parents and their relationships with their teenagers.

Currently, the students of the university are protesting and when the school paper wants to do an interview with the doctor, he is more than willing.

He claims that if you are close with your children, they will not stray from what is the right way and he firmly stands by that philosophy.

Shortly thereafter, the doctor gets a frantic call from his wife.

Their daughter Linda has been arrested for protesting in the campus demonstration.

In shock , the doctor rushes to the police station , believing it all must be a mistake.

There , he learns it is no mistake , Linda was infact arrested and the charges are not good.

The doctor and his wife find out soon enough that their beloved daughter , who they trust and thought they knew , isnt as easily understood or trustworthy as they thought.

The two of them have been experiencing a very strained relationship.

While Josh struggles to learn why he is distant from Dalton, Dalton seeks answers for his own distance from his art.

After an exercise in Dalton's college art class helps him look deeper inside himself, he begins having visions due to his past.

Only he doesn't realize the past is what he is seeing.

Soon Dalton and his father are once again having astral projections and unwillingly getting pulled deeper and deeper into The Further.

Elise explains that she no longer talks to the dead but wants to help Quinn.

But while Elise tries to help, she conjures something from the dark side, that attaches itself to Quinn.

Now Quinn's life is in danger and only with Elise's help can she shake the curse.

The story: When Bart Millard was 10 years old, the only thing that got him through his father's abuse was his love of music.

After a short stay at a Christian camp, Bart returned home to find that his mother had left the house for good.

When Bart was in high school, the only thing he wanted to do was please his still abusive father.

His father had dreams of being a football player, so of course Bart joined his high school team.

When an injury made Bart unable to play football, he found himself in the glee club.

But he didn't sing or act.

While working on learning how to run the sound system, Bart put one of his favorite cassettes in the player and began singing along.

That's when his teacher cast him in the lead of the clubs' upcoming musical.

Bart was unsure about pulling it off, but when he did, it changed his whole outlook.

Now he believed he should set his sights on becoming a singer and quickly he finds himself the lead singer of the band they named Mercy Me.

Just when they finally think they are good enough to be signed to a major label, Bart is told he "isn't ready yet".

He decides after his manager's advice, to go home and clear up the problems that he is avoiding.

Although Bart has almost always kept a journal, he has never actually used those words in his songwriting, nor has he ever confided in anyone about his problems with his dad.

When Bart makes amends with his dad and his dad finally becomes the man Bart always wanted him to be, that is when Bart finally writes the song that throws him into stardom.

It Lives Again (1978)

The story: It has been many years since the nightmare Frank Davis experienced with the birth of his mutant child.

He has made it his mission to seek out families who are at risk of also having a baby like his, which killed so many people.

Frank has found himself at the home/baby shower of Eugene and Jody Scott.

He explains to them the best he can that their soon-to-be-born baby has the same defects his did.

The only reason Eugene and Jody even remotely believe him is because he was all over the news after the incident.

Soon a doctor working along with Frank and the local police are involved in keeping the Scotts' babys birth under wraps and secluded from the outside world.

No one wants the same disaster that happened to Frank and his wife to happen again.

But there are two more mutant babies other than the Scotts' and some have escaped.

The story: In 2012, Naples, Florida, 17- year-old Conrad Roy lll of Mattapoisett, Massachusetts was introduced by his aunt to 16 -year-old Michelle Carter of Plainville, Massachusetts while visiting with their relatives on vacation.

The two teens quickly took a liking to each other and began bonding.

Both Conrad and Michelle had been battling demons of social anxiety and depression and being medicated for them which made the two even closer.

They spoke about what was on their minds mostly through text messages after they returned home and realized they lived only 35 miles away from each other.

When Conrad began really struggling with his depression he grew more and more suicidal.

While Michelle believed in Conrad's pain she also believed she was closest to him and was helping him the only way she thought she could.

Conrad eventually took his depression to a whole other level when he committed suicide on July 13, 2014, in a KMart parking lot in Fairhaven, Massachusetts.

It seemed to Michelle in a way that she had done the right thing by encouraging her friend to take his depression to the ultimate level.

But the people who loved and cared about Conrad saw things otherwise.

She agrees to get together with Bob but is quite distant which is confusing.

When Bob wants to further their relationship,  Jennifer wonders if she can commit this time.

The story : In 2003 Stanford college student and company owner Elizabeth Holmes filed her first patent application for a  wearable drug delivery patch.

By 2004 , she had dropped out of school , where she studied chemical engineering , although at the time she had experience with the testing of SARS.

Elizabeth believed she was on to something , even if she wasnt getting the get-go she believed in.

The bright young aspiring inventor had a life-long fear of needles , so when she came up with the idea of all data being collected for blood testing by one finger prick , she was told it could not be done.

But that did not stop Elizabeth.

She carried on , finding backers who believed her idea could be produced.

Elizabeth then renamed her already not going anywhere company to Theranos.

She found funding by convincing believers that her idea was possible and not just a dream.

She employeed many who also believed in the work they were doing.

But before there were any actual positive results , there were more than enough failures for insiders to see. Theranos work continued to plummet and even Elizabeth herself would not admit to its all around complete failure.

The Intruder (2019)

The story: Scott and Annie are a young married couple living in the city, due to his job.

Annie would like to move out to the country and start a family. 
She also has a house in mind.

When Scott gets his high-paying promotion, he asks Annie if she would like to go see the house.

The couple drive out to meet the owner, but he greets them with the shooting of a deer.

The houses owner Charlie claims the deer have been eating people's gardens and it is something that must be done.

Stunned, Scott and Annie are hesitant to go any further.

That is until Charlie makes light of things and offers to show them the house.

Annie loves the house. Scott, not so much. 

Charlie gives a price but Scott isn't really interested, getting fast in the car to leave.

Charlie approaches them one more time with a better price, which includes many things already inside the house.

Because Annie loves the property so much, Scott decides to give it a go.

But right from the very beginning, things are uncomfortable because apparently, Charlie isn't exactly ready to give up his home.

Little does anyone realize though, Gregory is still dealing with his childhood trauma.

Gregory is now himself the beloved neighborhood ice cream man, although the kids do find him a bit odd.

Recently one of the neighborhood kids has gone missing but when one is captured by the ice cream man in front of his friend it really becomes apparent that the ice cream man is not to be trusted.

The story: Cecilia is making a break from her brilliant, millionaire, abusive boyfriend but she's scared to death that he will find her.

The next thing she knows she is told her ex has committed suicide and she should be able to rest easy finally.

But soon Cecilia is convinced that her ex is there, at her every turn, looking to cause her harm.

Even though Cecilia knows her ex is out to get her she cannot prove it, at least not yet.

The story : Sheila is a lonely woman who lives with her son.

She goes to work daily , where she is always on her best behavior and has recently been looking to meet someone nice who she has a connection with.

Sheila goes to the local hip shop looking for something to wear on her date.

She finds a beautiful red dress that she is greatly encouraged by the sales woman to buy.

Sheila buys the dress and feels great about it but things are getting really scary in her life.

The next time Sheila goes to the shop she is told the model who is the only other person besides herself to wear the dress was killed tragically. This really makes Sheila uneasy about the dress , let alone all the bad luck shes been having.

When she tries returning the dress she is turned away which doesnt end at all well for Sheila.

The dress makes its way to a charity shop and is picked up and given to the next , unsuspecting victim of its unseen curse.
