The story: A married, mother of one, working as a social worker at a hospital becomes attached to an abandoned baby whose drug-addled mother misplaced him.
The woman adopts the baby and raises him as her own.
But just when things seem like they will be fine, the child's rehabilitated birth mother comes back into the picture to fight to get custody of her son.
