The story: A somewhat famous novel writer who was once from the small Maine town of Salem's Lot, returns to the town to begin writing his newest story.
The writer is strangely drawn an old infamous house whom he considers a site of pure evil.
He finds a secretive antique dealer has recently taken up residence in the old house.
No one suspects a thing, although ever since the antique dealer has come to town young boys have started disappearing, not unlike incidents which happened years before.
