The story: When young Mark Evan's mother dies suddenly, his father has no choice but to bring him to live with his aunt, uncle and two cousins.
At first, even though Mark is having a hard time with the loss of his mother, things seem good for him in his close relatives' company.
He soon becomes very close to his cousin who is the same age as him.
But after a short while of being in his cousins' company, Mark begins to see he cannot really trust his cousin, as he continuously carries out some cruel, out of the ordinary deeds that scare Mark into thinking his cousin is a murderer.
