This is based on true events.
The story: Ever since a very young age Henry Hill has lived what he believed was something of a charmed life.
By accident Henry became a mobster/hitman almost overnight, working for some really important mob men.
But the life of a mobster isn't all that wonderful and in the mid of Henry's life he realizes this when he finds himself testifying against the men that treated him as a son so he can get himself and family into the witness protection program, get out of the mob, avoid being imprisoned for life and finally live as a free man.
