The story: Three private investigators run around Manhattan spying on various women, while their boss avoids his wife and has an affair with the office secretary.
The detectives - a divorced father of two young girls who is searching around for something but he doesn't know exactly what - until he finally gets to meet her, a hip guy who dodges the women he has had casual relationships with and a really nervous guy who is assigned to follow a married woman to see if she's having an affair - while he is completely smitten her.
