The story: Married couple Burton and Vicky are traveling to Nebraska.
They get sidetracked when they take a wrong turn and find themselves in a small, almost deserted town called Gatlin.
While looking for signs of life, Vicky believes she sees someone in a nearby house.
The couple meets up with two children, who inform them that there are absolutely no adults in the town of Gatlin - due to their evil and controlling preacher/leader, Isaac, who controls everything that goes on in Gatlin.
When Isaac decides that Vicky and Burton have been interfering in his business and overstayed their welcome in his town, it comes time to sacrifice Vicky.
With the help of some helpful friends Vicky and Burton have made, good overcomes evil - but not without a big fight
