The story: A musician named Dewy lives for making music. When he is kicked out of the band he makes music in he feels he can still go on when he makes up his own band.
But while hanging out one morning during his new plans downtime, he takes a phone call meant for his roommate, Ned, who works as a substitute teacher sometimes.
Dewy plays along that he is Ned and takes the job as a substitute teacher for the 5th-grade class at a prep school.
At first , Dewy has no idea what to teach the class nor does he really have any care to teach them for that matter.
But all that changes when Dewy realizes how extremely talented the students are in the area of music.
