The story: Two girlfriends who are inseparable graduate high school and have their own plans for what to do with their futures...
First, they are supposed to get jobs and then the plan is to get an apartment together.
The two move about the town they live in a bit of an odd fashion by harassing a convenient store clerk and going to the length of making a blind date with a guy who has left a personal ad in the newspaper, seeking a specific someone.
That is all fun and good for the girls until one of the two gets a job and she begins to look at and accept things she wouldn't have otherwise even paid attention to, in a more responsible adult-like manner.
Now both girls' lives have to change and their relationship with each other begins to unravel.
