Originally shown at many different film festivals from the end of 2006 through 2007 before being released in theaters for a limited time June 15th, 2007 in the US.
Filmed entirely in Canada.
The story: Timmy is a young boy who lives with his parents in a small town where zombies are used as maids, milkmen, paperboys, etc.
Due to a special collar made to keep the zombies tame, they are almost human.
Timmy’s mother decides to get her family a zombie when a new family moves into the neighborhood who owns 6 zombies.
This is against her husbands' wishes, who is afraid of zombies.
Timmy befriends the zombie when it sticks up for him one day in the park against some bullies.
But when Timmy’s zombie is brutalized by an old woman and his collar deactivated he turns into the flesh-eating zombie he really is and causes a bit of a commotion.
