Filmed entirely in Florida.
The story: An inventor creates a man named Edward.
He is built every bit like a human man - every bit except for his hands.
He has scissors for hands.
When the inventor dies, Edward is left all alone.
At some point, he is rescued by a door-to-door saleslady.
She brings Edward back to live with her - with her family - in her neighborhood,
and all sorts of things happen.
