Oh , God! Book II (1980)

Released October 3rd in the US.
Filmed in California.
The story: Tracy is a young girl who lives with her divorced mother.
Today she is going to the customary dinner and a movie with her advertising dad.
After explaining to her dad about things like God, while protesting her choice in SciFi movies, he goes to make a phone call.
Tracy opens a fortune cookie to find a message, from God, to meet him in the lounge...
Tracy shrugs it off as a joke by her dad and opens another cookie, only to find another message urging her to go to the lounge.
Tracy goes and inside the lounge, gets greeted by the voice of God.
She believes it's just another of her father's jokes and doesn't exactly take any of it seriously.
That is until Tracy and her dad are on their way to the movies.
Dad stops in at work to pick something up and while Tracy waits in the car, she is then visited, in person, by God...
He explains to Tracy, that because he knows she believes in him and he could use her help on earth,  he has picked her to promote him.
Tracy believes its a fun idea and gets right to work.
But after some time and things just don't go like Tracy planned, things take a turn for the worst.
