The story : Stephen Elliott is a writer.
He is recently seeing some success of the non fiction novel about his childhood with his father.
At a reading of his book Stephen embarrassingly gets called out by surprise on his so-called lies and quickly sees the decline of his rising career.
Because Stephen believes everything in his book is mostly true , his agent advises him to find proof of the horrible things that he endeared as a kid to keep his career in the running.
What he finally allows himself to learn from his father and friends helps him see what really happened.
