The story : Beatrice is a single , sarcastic , lonely , middle-aged woman who is raising her two under 18 daughters alone.
Beatrice makes ends meet by taking borders into her run down home but she dreams of making things better for herself and her daughters.
Every time Beatrice comes up with an idea , she cannot find a way to make it a reality.
Meanwhile her oldest daughter struggles with night terrors and seizures while her younger daughter is living in the world her beloved Science teacher enlightens her with.
