The story : Willard is a lonely guy.
He lives with his elderly mom who cannot take care of herself and works at his deceased dads business.
At work , his dads ex-partner - Willard's boss , tries to make every day a living hell for him....and it works.
Poor Willard. He has low self-esteem , anger issues and no friends.
One night his mother complains to him that there are rats in the cellar!
Willard considers taking care of the problem but while doing so makes a very unlikely friend with a rat whom he catches but saves.
Along with Willards new rat friend comes many other rats willing to befriend Willard.
So Willard teaches his new friends some very devious tricks.
