The story : Martha is a young woman with mental disabilities.
She lives in a small house across the yard from her aunt who has been caring for her for years.
Martha doesnt have much worldly knowledge but enjoys the few friends she has.
When Martha's aunt needs a carpenter a man from town shows up and Martha speaks to him.
The man befriends Martha even though it doesnt look like her aunt will be hiring him.
Trying to help , Martha gets the guy the job with her aunt.
The man helps Martha come out of her shell and in turn she falls in-love with him.
