The story : Rock n roll star John Norman Howard is spoiled and bored with his constant work and life on the road.
After a disastrous show and outburst , John takes off and finds himself in a small nightclub.
That is where he meets nightclub singer Ester Hoffman.
John is instantly smitten with Ester. He then helps make her a star.
In the midst of it all , Ester just wants John to be happy.
With all the changes in his own career , John sinks into a pit of self destruction.
But the couple's love for each other changes his outlook on his life.
