The story: The Hendersons are a very active, close family consisting of mom, dad, daughter, son.
On their way back home from a nice family camping trip, they hit some kind of apeman in the road.
When they think they've wounded the animal and they don't want to just leave the poor thing in the road, they decide to strap it to the top of their car and head on home.
Probably not the brightest idea...
