The story: Helen Lyle and her gal-pal are college students, doing some research on their own for a book they are looking to write.
There is a local legend, of an unseen killer.
Helen and her girlfriend interview many who are familiar with the legend.
But the two aren't taking their subject matter seriously when everyone else who knows about it is truly scared out of their wits.
Not until the really bad stuff starts happening do the two women really believe.
