The story: Maurice L. Pogue is a cop turned private investigator.
It seems he is the best at what he does, although he just can't remember.
Pogue was involved in an explosion, leaving him without a memory of everything in his day-to-day life.
He begins to realize that he is a star witness to the killing of his ex-lover and he must be able to recall the events that will put the killer behind bars for good.
