The story: Walt is a retired vet who has just lost his beloved wife.
It seems Walt likes things done right and has little patience for selfish, needy people - on top of being extremely racist and prejudice.
By chance, Walt befriends a Hmong family who has recently taken up residence next door to him.
He finds that it is up to him to help them live a peaceful life at their new home like they deserve.
