The story: Derek Zoolander is a fashion/runway model with hardly any brains but great bone structure.
He becomes depressed after his popularity is taken over by an equally wonderful fashion/runway model named Hansel.
While Derek feels sorry for himself, he gets invited to a day spa by a designer claiming to want him for his new campaign - only instead he uses Derek to brainwash him into killing the prime minister of Malaysia, who is scheduled to be at the designers' new campaign show.
Saving the day, Derek teams up with a few new friends to make sure that any killing does not occur.
