The story: A young outlaw who goes by the name of Ned returns home to his family after a stay in prison.
Authorities see him as a bad guy and continually frame him for crimes that are not his fault, even though the local people see him as a sort of hero.
No longer with a choice to do good, Ned must continue on as a thief to financially support his family and in turn his choice to carry out deads of crime end up being the death of him.
