The story: As a child, Andy Kaufman was someone always looking to steal the spotlight.
In his older years, he found himself performing stand-up comedy in popular comedy clubs.
One night during one of Andy’s performances, he got lucky when the right man caught his act and wanted to help make him a famous fixture….and that he did.
Over the years, Andy’s fame brightened and faded drastically in his show business career, due to much of his own doing.
In the end, Andy no longer found himself with any freedom to come up with crazy, outlandish things to keep himself at work and in the spotlight due to his heart-wrenching battle with cancer.
