The story : Fletcher Reede is a lawyer and workaholic.
He is always lying in his profession and this is also what caused his marriage to end.
Fletcher has a son named Max from his marriage that he continually puts off for work.
But when Fletcher ceases to show for Max's 8th birthday party that he swore he would be at - Max makes a wish that his dad can no longer lie.
