The story: A teenage girl named Janey moves to a new city and is very excited about it, on account that her favorite tv show is filmed there.
On her first day at her new school, she befriends a girl named Lynne, who is also a huge fan of the tv show.
When the two girls get together at a babysitting gig, they catch the news of a contest in the works while watching their favorite show.
The girls decide to enter the contest, which will be picking a couple of great dancers to be featured on an episode of the top hit music/dance show, DTV.
