The story: A new high school teacher named Erin has very high hopes about what she can accomplish at her new job at a school whose reputation isn't a great one due to the students being difficult.
At first, things don't work out very well for Erin, as she has a very hard time getting the attention of her students who have a lot more on their minds than school.
After a while though, Erin ends up getting through to the students, winning their trust and warming their hearts - helping them learn things they never dreamed of.
Erin ends up helping the students go on to do the best they can possibly do for themselves and their futures.
