Weapons (2025)

Released August 8th in the US.
Filmed entirely in Georgia.
The story: In the Pennsylvania town of Maybrook, everyday life could be like any other town in America.
A working-class town where people feel safe and are happy raising their children.
Justine Gandy is a new teacher of a third-grade class at Maybrook Elementary School, and she really enjoys her job.
One morning, when Justine enters her classroom for the day, she finds only one student present, Alex Lily.
Soon, it becomes apparent that the rest of the students in that classroom have gone missing through the course of the night....
Everyone is baffled by this.
Alex is questioned but seems to know nothing.
Next, Justine starts being blamed for the children's disappearance, although she is just as in the dark as everyone else. But no one believes her.
After some time, when the children are not found, Archer Graff, the father of one of the missing third graders, cannot shake his overwhelming grief of losing his son.
He has been trying to figure out what happened since the night his son disappeared by watching the footage from his Ring camera.
Archer, too, blames Justine, believing she at least knows something about what happened.
That is, until one day, while confronting her at the local gas station, the most strange thing happens to both of them.
