The story: The Potters' - move into a new apartment complex.
It seems like a great fresh new start for the family.
While unpacking their belongings, the two children in the family Harry jr. and Wendy Ann, begin exploring their new building.
Wendy Ann happens to wander into the building's basement and finds a special, magic ring.
When Wendy Ann puts on the ring, she is suddenly transformed into a troll of all things.
But she doesn't turn into just any troll.
She turns into the head troll who is on a mission.
Wendy Ann's family soon sees a change in her, being a bit erratic and out of control.
They cannot pinpoint why this is and just blame her strangeness on the move.
Soon, Wendy Ann's older brother Harry jr. meets a woman who lives in an apartment upstairs.
The woman happens to be a sorceress that has a magic mushroom she disguises as a lamp that she confides in.
The sorceress fills Harry jr. in on the real reason his little sister has been acting the way she has.
The sorceress also informs Harry jr. he is a chosen wizard and has to fight the bad troll (who has become his little sister in disguise).
