Released June 3rd in the US.
Filmed entirely in California.
The story: Norman Bate is on trial for parole after being convicted and found legally insane.
A woman in great protest of Norman's release fights the court to try and keep him contained.
But to no avail, he is set free.
Norman is released and sent back to the home where he had lived before his conviction - with his mother.
He also has a job set up, as the motel he once managed is now taken over by a new owner.
Norman has a hard time readjusting to being in the large old house all by himself but beyond that fact, everything seems to go rather pleasantly for him outside of it.
He starts his new life off, working at a local diner.
He meets a young woman who also works at the diner and is in need of a place to stay.
Norman offers to let her stay with him and she decides, after finding no other place to go to stay there.
Little does Norman know that this young woman happens to be the daughter of the woman at his trial that was so bent on keeping him locked up.
